Top Free Blogging Platforms to Use

You can try Blogger, Wordpress.com, and Weebly.

BUT...you must read their TOS first so you'll know what to avoid. Otherwise, your site will get deleted, won't be indexed by Google, or worse, your account will get terminated.

To start using these sites, here are the steps.

1. Create an e-mail account exclusively for your site.
2. Go to any of these blogging platforms and sign up.
3. Confirm your account.
4. Take time to learn the ins and outs of the blogging platform.
5. Start creating and publishing your content.

Of the free sites mentioned above, I'm very comfortable with Blogger. But that's because I can now tweak the codes to customize the size according to how I want them to look like. An example is Affiliate Marketing Philippines.

For beginners, Blogger is recommended. It's easy to start, and beginners who don't know how to tweak codes can easily play around with Blogger's customization feature.

I would say, though, that Weebly is also great for beginners. It has a drag-and-drop feature, so it's very easy to use. The features, though, are limited.

Those who are accustomed to Blogger will tell you that Wordpress.com can be confusing. But it has a lot of features you'll definitely love once you get the hang of it. Another drawback is that they won't allow Adsense or affiliate banners in the sidebar.
